Life Update: Okay so two weeks ago I was fired three days before my final day at my last job. Since then, I've only worked three days at my new job and had no idea what I was gonna do in terms of groceries, etc. I even told my new boss that there are two locations within walking distance of me and I'll take whatever shifts he has available. One of my co-workers tells me she jumped on our GM about why she didn't see me anywhere on the schedule. I still had a couple hundred bucks left in the bank but I was praying to the gods last night...actually, I won't lie, I've been at that for the last two weeks and trying to act like everything was cool...and kept checking my bank like a madman. Before I go on, if any of you did spellwork, prayers, well-wishes, good luck thingamabobs or "Make It Rain" dances for me, I have to tell you something...they worked. Looks like my last job paid out my PTO in full PLUS whatever I'd earned during the last days I worked for them. I'm good for another two weeks and then some. Thank you all. I can't express what that means to me and I love you all. Y'all the real MVPs in my life and I'll never be able to repay that but best believe, I will give it my all trying.
