I saw Signature gatherers at Vancouver Costco yesterday, plus pre-prepared signs that Costco employees held explaining their disapproval. Police where there when I left and I signed one petition I didnt sign at Fred Meyers. It seems to me that The Ballot Measures were Pro-People and why would Costco Object as part of their civic duty to the state that gives them their sustenance? Why would the Executives at Costco object to People and Voter initiatives. People can read for themselves whether they agree or not or want to sign or not. What is Costcos position on these measures and why would they selectively object? Fred Meyer Vancouver in my area had signature gatherers and no objections from Fred Meyer and no police. Since these huge corporations have literally put small business owners out of business guess Whose side I am on. Debank me if you dare!
